Palace of Poetry is a visual novel video game made as a part of The University of Texas at Austin's JapanLab as their Playing Palace Politics project. The game is a retelling of the classic Japanese novel The Tale of Genji with an adapted story, original score, original artwork, and a visual novel game format.

Install instructions
Download the zip file that matches your OS. Once it's downloaded, extract all the files from the zip file. Once extracted, find the PalaceofPoetry.exe file for PC or PalaceofPoetry.sh file for Mac and open it. Enjoy playing Palace of Poetry!
